Emulsion

Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt is a top quality high opacity emulsion based on unique AkzoNobel technology which gives excellent coverage with a high quality finish. Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt has a smooth flow for easy application. Suitable for all normal interior wall and ceiling surfaces.

High Gloss

Dulux Trade High Gloss is a solvent-based formulation which offers excellent flow, giving surfaces a tough, durable high gloss finish. Suitable for use on interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces.

Primer

 All Primers come in a White colour and in varying quantities, all readily available at the Rode branch.

• Wood Primer- Dulux Trade Wood Primer is a good, general purpose solvent-based primer suitable for use on all types of soft and hard woods, inside and outside. Wood that is highly resinous should be primed with Dulux Trade Aluminium Wood Primer. Available in 2.5L and 1L containers.
• Quick Drying Wood Primer- Dulux Trade Quick Drying Wood Primer Undercoat is a water-based, high opacity, dual purpose primer undercoat for interior and exterior woodwork, which is recoatable in 2-4 hours. It is ideal for use as a primer for softwoods, hardwoods, chipboard and fibre board (except fire retardant-treated types). Dulux Trade Quick Dry Wood Primer Undercoat can also be used as an undercoat for woodwork that has been previously primed or painted with either solvent- or water-based paint. Available in 2.5L and 1L containers.
• Aluminium Wood Primer- Dulux Trade Aluminium Wood Primer is a solvent-based primer containing aluminium pigment suitable for use on all types of softwoods and hardwoods, inside and outside, especially those which are highly resinous. It can also be used as a sealer for aged creosoted or bitumen coated surfaces or as a first coat when using Dulux Trade Aluminium Paint on timber, where a two-coat aluminium system is required. Available in a 1L container.
• MDF Primer- Dulux Trade Quick Drying MDF Primer Undercoat is a water-based primer suitable for use on MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) surfaces both inside and outside. It is quick drying and low odour when compared to solvent-based primers. Available in a 2.5L container.
• Stain block- Dulux Trade Stain Block Primer is a water-based primer suitable for use on interior walls and ceilings. It is formulated to prevent the migration of stains through the finished paint film and also to seal and bind dry, friable and powdery interior surfaces such as plaster, brick and distemper. It is the effective treatment for stains caused by: water-based and solvent-based inks, crayon, biro, coffee, grease, scuff marks, water and nicotine. Available in a 1L container.

Satinwood

Dulux Trade Satinwood is a solvent-based satin finish formulation that is tough, hardwearing and dirt resistant. Does not require an undercoat except where a strong colour change is required. Suitable for use on interior wood and metal surfaces.

Only comes in a Pure Brilliant White colour in two different sizes: 1L or 2.5L.

Supermatt

Dulux Trade Supermatt is a top quality, economical, high-opacity matt emulsion which gives excellent coverage and application. Suitable for all interior wall and ceiling surfaces, particularly new plaster that is still drying out. Dulux Trade Supermatt also has Airsure technology, and is 99.9% VOC Free*, to minimise the impact on indoor air quality.

Undercoat

Dulux Trade Undercoat is a solvent-based undercoat recommended for use with Dulux Trade High Gloss. Provides excellent opacity and its high sheen level contributes to exceptional gloss retention. Suitable for use on correctly prepared and primed interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces.

Vinyl Silk

Dulux Trade Vinyl Silk is a top quality washable emulsion based on unique AkzoNobel technology, providing a tough, mid-sheen finish. Where condensation is a problem, for example some kitchens and bathrooms, use Dulux Trade Diamond Eggshell. Suitable for all normal interior wall and ceiling surfaces.

Only comes in a Pure Brilliant White colour in two different sizes: 1L or 2.5L.

Weathershield

All weathershield products come in Pure Brilliant White colour and in varying quantities, all readily available at the Rode branch.

• Exterior High Gloss- specifically developed to give long-lasting, high gloss protection for exterior woodwork. Contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth on the paint film and help it stay cleaner for longer. Provides 8 year weathering durability, when used as part of the full Weathershield exterior paint system. Available in 2.5L and 1L containers.
• Exterior Flexible Undercoat- weather-resistant and flexible paint system from Dulux Trade specifically developed to give longer lasting protection for exterior woodwork. Provides 8 year weathering durability, when used as part of the full Weathershield exterior paint system. Available in 2.5L and 1L containers.
• Quick Dry Exterior Gloss- quick-drying paint system for exterior trim and woodwork. This water-based formulation has excellent flow and levelling for a smooth high gloss finish. Specially developed to give exterior woodwork extensive protection for up to 8 years*. It offers great flexibility to accommodate the natural movement of wood that occurs over time. It contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth within the paint film and help it stay cleaner for longer. Available in 2.5L containers.
• Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat- weather-resistant and quick-drying paint system for exterior trim and woodwork. This water-based undercoat offers great flexibility to accommodate the natural movement of wood that occurs with weather changes. Specifically formulated to be used with Dulux Trade Weathershield topcoats to provide up to 8 years protection* for exterior woodwork. Available in 2.5L containers.
• Preservative Primer- Dulux Trade Weathershield Preservative Primer + (BP) penetrates into wood to seal and preserve against water damage, decay and blue stain fungi. Provides 8 year weathering durability, when used as part of the full Weathershield exterior paint system. Available in 2.5L and 1L containers.

Diamond Matt

Dulux Trade Diamond Matt is a tough and cleanable emulsion with a smooth, even matt finish. It's perfect for busy environments that require frequent cleaning as it contains unique Stain Repellent Technology, preventing stains from setting in to the surface and making cleaning up easier. It also protects against common scuffs and achieves Class 1 ISO 11998 and Type C BS 7719 scrub ratings, meaning walls withstand daily wear and tear and the finished job looks better for longer.
