Speedhammer

The IRWIN® SDS Speedhammer Plus Drill Bits are designed for SDS drilling. They drill exceptionally fast into brick, block, masonry, concrete and granite. The patented, unique single flute design ensures efficient, speedy removal of dust and lower vibrations and 28% greater capacity meaning more efficient waste removal. They have a patented extra-short drill bit head which means the head takes 80% of the workload, ensuring higher durability and speed. Clears drilling dust directly into the flute, reducing the risk of clogging. The bits have 25% more tungsten carbide for extra strength and they drill 25% faster than competitive drill bits with the same high durability. In addition, they have more aggressive cutting angles and self-centring for faster drilling.

Sizes range between 4mm and 26mm thicknesses all available at different lengths

Available at the Rode and Trowbridge branches

Turbomax

The Irwin Turbomax range of drill bits are suitable for portable and cordless drills. They are primarily designed for drilling metal and sheet metal but also performs exceedingly well in all types of wood and plastics and can be used for drilling stainless steel.

Sizes include: 1x34mm, 1.5x40mm, 2x49mm, 2.5x57mm, 3x61mm, 4x75mm, 5x86mm, 8x117mm, 9x125mm, 10x133mm.

Blue Groove

IRWIN Blue Groove 6X Drill Bits are ideal for drilling wood and offer 6x faster drilling penetration than a standard flat bit. Their Tri-Flute design allows for faster chip ejection and their full screw tips ensure ease of use and pull through. The cutting spurs produce clean holes with minimal breakout and the tapered flute reduces binding. The drill bits are also heat treated for extra durability.

Sizes include: 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm, 28mm, 32mm. All sizes come at a 165mm length.

Available at the Rode branch

Brad Point

The Irwin Brad Point Drill Bits are specially designed for precision wood drilling, ideal for furniture and cabinet making. The centre point is for easy start up and the spurred cutting head is designed to reduce splintering and ensure smooth clean holes. The body is fully hardened for maximum wear resistance. They also have wide flutes which provide a fast, continuous flow of chips.

Sizes include: 3mm x 61mm, 4mm x 75mm, 5mm x 86mm, 6mm x 93mm, 8mm x 117mm

HSS Cobalt

These Faithfull Professional Cobalt Jobber Drill Bits are manufactured from M35 HSSE grade steel with a 5% cobalt content for increased heat resistance and cutting performance. All bits are fully ground and feature a 135° non-slip split point for precise centring and are produced in accordance to DIN 388 for high precision tolerances and geometric accuracy. Cobalt bits cut faster and last longer and are suitable for heavy-duty industrial work in: Alloy steels, carbon steels, cast iron, hardened alloy steels, stainless steels, high temperature alloys, Titanium alloy, high strength steel and carbon fibre composite materials.

Sizes include: 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm

Available at the Chippenham branch

Masonry

The Irwin masonry drills bits are designed for fast and efficient drilling in brickwork, concrete and breeze block, especially with cordless drills. They drill up to 60% faster than competitive drill bits whilst maintaining the same high durability. The single flute design ensures faster dust removal for increased drilling speed, with the unique, pressed diamond-ground carbide tip allows for aggressive cutting and the carbide tip design also ensures 20% longer life compared to previous Irwin masonry drill bits. The bits are made with a chrome vanadium body with high carbon content which allows more hardening and a stronger bit for maximum rupture strength.

Size include: 4mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm. All sizes come in a 160mm length

Multi Construction

Faithfull Multi Construction Drill Bits are suitable for use in most materials encountered in the building industry. They can be used on brick, tile, concrete, metal, aluminium, wood and plastic, and are ideal for multi-layer materials. The diamond-ground carbide tip has advanced performance cutting edges for a long working life and the flute is designed for fast debris removal. Perfect for use in cordless drills when used on both rotary or hammer modes, dependent on the material being drilled.

Sizes include: 4x75mm, 5x85mm, 6x100mm, 7x100mm, 8x120mm, 10x120mm, 12x150mm or a set that includes all

Diamond Drill Bit

The Irwin Diamond tipped drill bits are suitable for fast smooth cutting in all grades of hard and soft tiles. Their raised diamond grit edge makes for easy starting in hard tile without the need for a guide. The diamond grit is tough brazed diamond which ensures fast cutting and long life. The drill bit’s reverse spiral forces water towards its cutting head, keeping the diamonds cool to increase cutting speed and prolong life. Drilling with water will further increase the lifespan of the tool. The auto slug ejection slot allows the bits to be used for continuous, uninterrupted cutting.

Sizes include: 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm

Available at the Rode branch

Glass & Tile Bit

The Irwin Glass & Tile Drill Bits are suitable for drilling glass, porcelain and ceramics. Drill with low RPM (300RPM recommended), water cooling is also recommended. Do not use on hammer setting.

Sizes include: 5mm, 6mm, 8mm
