Earthwool Acoustic Rolls are non-combustible Glass Mineral Wool rolls, manufactured using our revolutionary ECOSE® Technology and are specialist sound insulating products for use in new build and retrofit internal wall and floor applications.
Rolls are 1200mm wide and ready-cut to produce 3 x 400mm wide rolls, or 2 x 600mm wide rolls.
CavityTherm is an innovative built-in insulation for traditional walls that achieves passive level U-Values as low as 0.12 W/m2K with excellent thermal bridging detailing in cavities less than 150mm wide.
An insulation board aimed specifically at partial fill cavity wall applications. It comprises a polyisocyanurate rigid foam insulation core, with a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and low emissivity aluminium foil facings on both sides. It is manufactured from rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) using a blend of blowing agents that have zero ozone depletion potential (zero ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP).
Polyisocyanurate (PIR) is one of the most efficient insulation material used in construction. This product is an improvement of previously used PUR boards (polyurethane), typically produced as a foam and used as rigid thermal insulation. This type of insulation offer many advantages when compared with other traditional insulating materials, and over its useful life will save 80 times more energy than was used to make it. Most popular type of PIR insulation board comprises a rigid PIR insulation core sandwiched between two high performance aluminium foil facings to create a tough, durable, light weight insulation board that performs whilst reducing the overall cost to build.
Earthwool Building Slabs are non-combustible Rock Mineral Wool slabs, manufactured using our revolutionary ECOSE® Technology in a range of densities, and are designed for use in multiple applications.
Earthwool Building Slab RS45 is manufactured with a density of 45kg/m3, designed for use in a variety of applications including internal partitions, timber and metal studs, and in between timber rafters and floor joists.
Stocked in 37.5mm, 50.5mm and 62.5mm. Thermal PIR Laminated bonded to a 12.5mm plasterboard.
Thermal plasterboard has a plasterboard sheet with an attached insulation board giving fantastic insulating properties. ... Some of these include insulating internal walls, improving installation of cavity walls, for loft conversions and garage conversions.
TLX SILVER AND TLX GOLD
TLX Silver Multifoil insulation has been independently tested by fully accredited test laboratories to the latest British and European standards; it was the first reflective multifoil insulation to be awarded a prestigious BBA Certificate of Agrément, and our roof and wall solutions combining TLX Silver with secondary insulation were the first to be recognised by LABC and given Registered Details status.
TLX Silver has been used in numerous new build houses with the approval of NHBC, in loft and barn conversions, or simply when upgrading the performance of existing structures. Look at our case studies for examples. We provide unrivalled support to our customers.
We have been in the forefront of developing reflective multifoil insulation products and solutions to meet the energy efficiency needs of both new and existing buildings.
TLX Gold Insulating Breather Membrane is the only product of its type with BBA certification. In just a few steps this unique product improves the thermal value of your roof without a risk of condensation and with little or no change to the roof height.
TLX Gold has been designed for today’s roofer. Whether it’s a roof refurbishment or new build project it improves thermal performance and eliminates the risk of condensation, it vents moisture like a breather membrane and yet insulates like non-breathable PIR board. TLX Gold is Sd intelligent (the more moisture present, the more it breathes) which is why there’s no condensation risk, even without a vapour barrier.
TLX Gold has now been used in over 25,000 roofs in the UK and is fully BBA certified and endorsed by the LABC.
TLX Gold comes with a product performance guarantee, is fast to fit, and many solutions do not need to remove existing insulation. We will provide you with solutions that have a guaranteed U-value, condensation risk and an estimate of payback calculations.
If you don’t find what you need please call our helpline as we regularly work with architects and Building Control to design bespoke solutions for difficult-to-insulate properties.
